Ingredients:
- 2lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 1 1/2 Tbs olive oil
- 1 Tbs minced garlic
- 1/3c honey
- 2 Tbs liquid aminos (can also use soy sauce)
- 1 tsp chili garlic sauce*
- corn starch
- sesame seeds
*For the chili garlic sauce, I make my own with bourbon, red pepper flakes, garlic, and honey. I measure with my heart, so just throw a little bit of each in the mixture and you will be good to go!*
Directions:
- blot excess water off of chicken with a paper towel
- turn InstantPot to “sauté”…add olive oil and chicken thighs
- sear both sides of chicken and leave in pot, but turn off the “sauté” feature
- mix together garlic, honey, liquid aminos, and chili garlic sauce and pour over chicken
- turn pot to “high pressure” and set for 5 minutes
- when it is finished, let the steam naturally release for 5 minutes, and then manually release the rest.
Pro tip: Once you have released all of the steam, throw some broccoli in the pot and put the lid on. Let it sit for a few minutes and you will have some effortless steamed broccoli!
I love to eat this on top of some jasmine rice!
