Overnight Oats

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups old-fashioned/rolled oats
  • 2 tbs chia seed
  • 1 scoop Ascent protein powder*
  • 2 cups milk
  • maple syrup**
  • vanilla extract**
  • cinnamon**

Directions

  1. Mix dry ingredients in large bowl
  2. Add in wet ingredients and mix until combined
  3. Pour mixture into 4 jars/containers
  4. Place in fridge and enjoy after (at least) 8 hours!

Notes:

I usually use the vanilla Ascent, however you can use other flavors and it turns out just as yummy! You can exchange the maple syrup for honey for a little bit of a different flavor. I like to add berries to mine, but not until I am eating the oats. If you let the berries sit with the oats in the fridge, they get mushy. I also like to add nut butter and/or nuts as a topping!
